Tornado Alley, traditionally defined as the region extending from northern Texas through Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska, has long been recognized as the most tornado-prone area in the United States.
In the past three decades, however, tornado activity has exhibited a notable shift from Tornado Alley to Dixie Alley.
